Alignment Types

Please see the below sample of Alignment. Then go through the points mentioned.

Top: This option will align the text in Vertical direction. The text will be aligned to the Top of the cell. The shortcut is Alt+H+AT
Middle: This option will align the text in Vertical direction. The text will be aligned in the Middle of the cell. The shortcut is Alt+H+AM.
Bottom: This option will align the text in Vertical direction. The text will be aligned at the Bottom of the cell. The Shortcut is Alt+H+AB.
Left: This option will align the text in Horizontal direction. The text will be aligned to the Left side of the cell. The shortcut is Alt+H+AL.
Centre: This option will align the text in Horizontal direction. The text will be aligned in the Centre of the cell. The shortcut is Alt+H+AC.
Right: This option will align the text in Horizontal direction. The text will be aligned to the Right side of the cell. The shortcut is Alt+H+AR.
Orientation
In Orientation we can change the text to different angles please see below options.
Please see the below sample of Alignment. Then go through the points mentioned.

Angle Counterclockwise: This option will move the text counterclockwise direction within the cell. The shortcut is Alt+H+FQ+O.
Angle Clockwise: This option will move the text in a clockwise direction within the cell. The shortcut is Alt+H+FQ+L.

Vertical Text: This option will move the text in the vertical direction within the cell. The shortcut is Alt+H+FQ+V.
Rotate Text Up: This option will move the text in the vertical direction and rotate the text upwards directions. The shortcut is Alt+H+FQ+U.
Rotate Text Down: This option will move the text in the vertical direction and rotate the text upwards directions. The shortcut is Alt+H+FQ+D.
Format Cell Alignment = Alt+H+FQ+M In Format cell Alignment is one place you can make all alignments which are coved in this entire section at one place.
Indent
Please see the below sample of Alignment. Then go through the points mentioned.

Increase Indent: This option will move the text to the Right side of the cell. The shortcut key is Alt+H+6.
Decrease Indent: This option will move the text to the Left side of the cell.
The shortcut key is Alt+H+5.
Warp Text
Please see the below sample of Alignment. Then go through the points mentioned.

Wrap Text: This option will adjust the lengthy text to fit at per cell size. The Shortcut is Alt+H+W
Merge & Centre
Please see the below sample of Alignment. Then go through the points mentioned.

Merge & Centre: This will make the selected cells merge into a single cell and then place the text in the centre of the cell. The Shortcut is Alt+H+M+C.
Merge Across: This will make the selected cells merge only columns. But the text will not be moved to the centre. The shortcut is Alt+H+M+A.
Merge Cells: This option will work similarly to Merge & Centre. It will merge both columns and rows. But the text will not be moved to the centre. The shortcut is Alt+H+M+M
Unmerge Cells: This option will unmerge the cells which are already merged using the 3 merge options we have seen above. The shortcut is Alt+H+M+U.
